Application Programming Interface is referred to as API. It's a group of computer programs that serves
as a dividing line between a client and a server, enabling data transfer between software applications. Additional
terms for the data exchange may be included in APIs.
Web-based apps rely heavily on APIs, which are available from any internet-connected device. They let various software applications
to communicate with one another and exchange information or features. For instance, an API might be used by a phone weather app to obtain
the most recent weather information from a provider.
